Fire

Fire burning in my soul; singing softly its sweet tune. Heat blazes bright; frees the darkness in my heart. Warmth spreads its wings, flies away to better places. Life's glow spreads throughout the frozen, barren earth. Winter dies and is replaced by spring's bright glow. Flowers pop out from the ground and perfume the air with their sweet scents. Purples, yellows, and whites dot the landscape, bend and sway in the warm spring air. Grass grows once more with help from the midday showers. Only enough clouds to gray the sky; no thunder or lightening to upset the delicate balance of nature. Softly falling water droplets wet the ground. Clouds break up and the sky is painted with stars. Warm midnight breezes drift across the land; flowers, grasses, and trees dance to the rythm of life, they keep calm and carry on. Carry on until day breaks once more.
