So in a little less that 12 hours I will be on my way to the airport to fly to the windy city of Chicago!! I guess you could say I'm excited :D I'm going there for the FIRST Midwest regional. I can't wait. It's the first really competitive regional I've ever been to, even though I've been on Team 148 for 3 years. It's sad that Robotics isn't really a big deal down south, but you got to live with what you're dealt. Our flight leaves around 5:30 AM, so we're leaving Greenville at 2:30. Fun fun... Not really haha. Since our flight gets in so early, we get to spend all of Wednesday sightseeing! We'll go see the Sear's Tower, some museum, and Millennium Park!! Which means I'll get to see The Bean! I really cannot wait. It's been on my bucket list for a while, and I'm always really happy when I get to mark things off my bucket list!
Speaking of my bucket list, and travel, This summer's vacation is a Caribbean cruise! It'll be my first cruise, and my first time in living memory to the Caribbean. I went to St. John when I was little, but I don't remember that. We'll go down a few days ahead of when the cruise departs, and spend that time in Miami. After that, we'll board the ship, go see the Bahamas, then come back home to Texas! It seems like a pretty good senior trip, though what I really wanted was to go to Europe ;) What can I say, that's always where my heart will lie!
