| Went to the rec twice today. Once for Zumba at 6:30 AM, and one for Vinyasa Yoga at 8 PM. It was lighter out for my 8 PM class than the 6:30 AM one |

Day Six
Cowboys Stadium and Rocky Horror
Well, it's been a super fun and super busy last few days, and tomorrow the fun continues with the Ranger's game! I'm excited for that, but before I get a head of myself, here's some pictures from the Harvey Martin Classic at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Lakewood Theater in Dallas. College has definitely been amazing.

Day Five
So I just got back in from one of the best nights ever at around 4 AM. Going to eat at Chili's in Garland, then seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Lakewood Theater in Dallas, and finally ending the night with IHOP, this is definitely a day to remember.

Day Four
I apologize for not posting yesterday. My picture was taken at the football game (which we were slaughtered in), which was held at the Cowboy's Stadium in Dallas. So naturally, we didn't get back until almost 1 AM, and by then I just wanted to go to sleep. So here is yesterday's picture!

Day Three
There are several pictures I have in the running for my picture of the day. I think I'm going to go with the first one as my actual picture. The rest are runners up.

Letters From Strangers
A while ago (when I still used StumbleUpon), I stumbled upon this one site that seemed to awesome to me. It's called Letters From Strangers. I don't know how she came up with this idea, but it struck a chord with me, and I absolutely love it. It's a fantastic idea, and I sent in a few letters. After a month or so with nothing back, the site slipped from my mind. Then one day almost a year later, I received a letter in the mail from a strange address. I flipped it over, and on the back was the link to the website. I immediately got very excited, and I opened the letter. Inside was a quote I had heard hundreds of times, but never paid any attention to. It was good advice, but I never took it to heart. Not until I read that letter. Seeing that quote in print, written by a stranger, and being in kind of a hard place anyway totally opened my eyes. I took the advice to heart. It's amazing what just a letter of encouragement will do to a hungry soul. So I sent in another letter. Since it took so long to get one back, I'm not expecting replies any time soon, but I know it'll be an awesome experience when I do get another one back.
I decided to check the site again today. I hadn't been there in a few weeks, and wanted to see the new letters. When I scrolled down a little bit, I saw this. I drew that picture and wrote that letter over a year ago. Seeing it on the site, however, totally made my day. I had forgotten about it, but it makes me happy to see it again.

Project 365: Round Two
I'm going to try to start another project 365; a picture a day for a year, except I'll blog it instead of Facebooking it. This time, I want to use this project to grow as a photographer. Last time, I just used the pictures as a visual diary, but this time I want to grow as an artist. I'm using my first "real" photo assignment as a push, and I'm going to try to keep going. I did it once, I can do it again. This is day one.
