Rain drips down my window pane,
Lightening strikes and thunder crashes.
Nothing seems to appear the same
When springtime storms roll through the sky.
The heavens open; rain falls down.
Trees are hit hard hit hard by the water.
Thunder roars and I hear the sound
When springtime storms roll through the sky.
Puddles grow bigger; drip, drip, drop.
Water still falls down from above.
In the rain I listen and stop
as springtime storms roll through the sky.
Purple-blue-white lightening flashes;
The crash rolls through the darkened sky.
A wet dog playfully splashes
When springtime storms roll through the sky.
In a puddle a flower lies,
Catching the eyes of passersby,
And suddenly before my eyes,
the springtime storms stop in the sky.
