One-A-Day May: Day Two
sparks of light break through the smooth, gray sky; minature spotlights on nature's beauty. sun's rays split open the clouds and illuminate my meadow. grass shines gold-silver; tiny water drops on the blades reflect light. flowers open up their welcome arms to the warmth radiating down from above. birds fly out of their roosts in the trees, sing their sweet melodies now that the storm is over. rabbits peek out of their burrows; check to see if the coast is clear. the ring of trees surrounding my meadow sways in perfect time to the music of the wind. the clouds break up completely just as the sun starts to set. gold-orange rays paint the sky; shadows elongate; life waits in sleep for tomorrow.

I like this one. It made me feel like I was right there, seeing exactly what you were seeing.
